We arose at 5:00 today and arrived at the Hefei airport at 6:30। By

8:30 we were leaving the place Liana grew up. A momentary sadness
swept over me as I took a last glance at the place that has been her home.
The plane ride was only one hour and fifty minutes. However it seemed
like an eternity to her. She cried the last twenty minutes of the trip, after
we were told to buckle our seat belts. A few people tried to console her.
Passengers gave her three miniature tangerines. A young boy offered to
let her play with his toy dinosaur. However, she was not to be consoled.
She slung the toy into the floor immediately. So much is going through
that precious little mind right now. Lord, bless our little darling as she is

continually being over stimulated with so many new things to process.

Liana’s first airplane ride!!! She did not have much fun nor us for that matter.
